Just Be Play Therapy

Giving children the space to ‘Just Be’
  • Builds confidence, develops social skills, and teaches children to trust
  • Enables children to develop coping skills, selfawareness, and emotional regulation
  • Helps children develop a positive outlook on life and to build resilience.

Play Therapy is based upon the fact that play is the child’s natural medium of self-expression. It is an opportunity which is given to the child to ‘play out’ his feelings and problems just as, in certain types of adult therapy, an individual ‘talks out’ his difficulties – Virginia Axline

Play therapy is a type of therapy that uses play to help children express themselves, explore their feelings and develop problem-solving skills. It is based on the idea that play is a child’s natural medium for self-expression, growth, and exploration. Through play, children can communicate in ways that are more comfortable than simply talking.
